We will have a Gumbo cook off Saturday, February 24th for our Mardi Gras Celebration! $15 entry fee per team member, each team will receive up to 4 passes for the music event. Tasting begins at 11:00 am until 1:00pm, with judging at 2pm. Live music on Friday, February 23rd with Benny Bryant & Jesse Roach from 6-9pm, and a bonfire with smores! Fun events begin Saturday morning with kid’s mask making at 10am, decorated golf cart parade at 4pm, unique mask contest at 5pm, and Shane Sharp performing 6-9pm! More details to come! Music events open to the public with 50 tickets available to preorder.
Friday evening, March 1st we will have a bonfire around dusk. Saturday March 2nd sign up for the Cornhole Tournament, and later, Sarah Green will perform from 5 to 8pm. 50 tickets open to the public for $15/each, call to preorder!
Join us for upcoming cook offs! In March we will have two Chili Cook offs on the 9th and 10th. Come experience World Class Chili! People’s Choice category $10 entry, for the public or become a member of The International Chili Society for $10 and enter all categories at chilicookoff.com/cookoffs. Give us a call 877.495.1974 to register for People’s Choice or for more information! Our cooks receive 50% off lodging (RV sites and Cabins). Chief Judge Ken Hook, for the International Chili Society, will host a free ICS Chili cooking class here at the resort February 17th from 10am to 2pm, with Caleb Boles performing from 6-9pm. 50 tickets available for the public, call to preorder!
